Traveling has always been one of the great joys of my life. Ever since I was little, I had this urge to discover new places, and, although I realise I'm still away from home more often than most people, having to slow down our traveling activities has been one the greatest challenges of being pregnant. It's obviously a bit hard to predict how our lives will change once the baby arrives, but if anything, we're super determined to keep on discovering new parts of the world, as this is such a huge part of our identities. And in the meantime, I'm gladly completing my bucket list with the most jaw-dropping destinations in Europe, America, Asia, or whatever crazy new place-to-be catches my eye - including these 5 gorgeous spots that you must book right now!

You know those endless gloomy days when traffic is awful and meetings are long and unproductive? Well, Villa Lena in Tuscany is exactly what I dream of escaping to on those particular days. The retreat actually consists of several buildings, including apartments (mostly used as artist residency), hotel rooms, and laid back common areas - all equally charming and straight-from-a-movie. If you're tired of exploring the buildings, you can take a long walk in the surrounding 500 hectares (!) of olive groves, vineyards, and vegetable garden. If you're looking for an inspiring artistic setting for the Summer: this is it!

It hasn't been that long since we explored the bustling city of Bangkok, but on our next trip I definitely plan to check out the gorgeous Siam hotel. Located near the royal palace, the hotel houses only 39 luxury suites, arranged around a peaceful water filled area with palm trees and light pouring in. The spa and pool area are just as dreamy, and every single guest can count on a 24 hour butler service - you know, to keep the refreshments coming. And if you're feeling particularly energised (and why wouldn't you?), you can train your boxing skills in the world's very first Thai boxing ring at the hotel's gym. Talk about an all-round stay!

Croatia has been on my bucket list for so long, but as it goes with destinations that are conveniently close to home, we just haven't gotten to it yet. Or maybe the universe was telling us to wait until this gem, Little Green Bay, opened its doors. Overlooking the crystal clear water of the Hvar beach, the brother-and-sister owners (so cute, right?) wanted to create a relaxed and homely atmosphere in their restored farmhouse. In line with its name, green is the dominant colour for the tasteful interior, together with all-natural materials as glass, stone, wood, and linen. This is untouched nature at its very best!

Marrakech has lots of magical hotels, but this fairly recent Royal Palm hotel is something else. With a breathtaking view of the Atlas mountains you got yourself a pretty good start, and as it happens, eco-friendliness was at the top of the hotels owners' list. An inventive rainwater recovery system ensures that nothing is wasted - from the decadent rooms overlooking the gardens, the four gourmet restaurants, gold course, and luxury spa. Can't wait to be a part of this picture perfect very soon!

As China is one of the countries at the top of my bucket list (so far, we visited Tokyo and Kyoto in that area, both amazing), I'm always in for new must-visits, and the green city of Anji looks super appealing! The lakeside Alila hotel, also ecologically friendly, is located in the best possible natural setting, amongst the typical Chinese bamboo and plantations. The architecture is clean, simple, and luxurious - just the way I like it. Though it'd be hard to leave the hotel, my favourite things to do would include white tea tasting in the surrounding plantations, and tai-chi classes. Take me there, please!
