Every year, it's the same old story: I start spotting cute possible X-mas gifts for my sweetest friends & family from September on, thinking I have all the time in the world to purchase them. Fast forward to December, and I have assembled a grand total of zero gifts, leaving me with a sad amount of time and pending nervous breakdown to tackle the Holiday gift hunt.

But this year, I went a different way and actually had an enlightening convo with my besties at the beginning of Fall. As it turns out, we all agreed that accessories are the best X-mas gifts (together with those cute personal only-you-get-it gifts, and food of course)! A nice piece of jewellery really goes a long way - quite literally, as it will most likely become something that you'll cherish forever. Major bonus points for the fact that gifting jewellery for X-mas means that your friend won't have to worry about pimping her NYE outfit, because you got her covered. Chopard has come up with a gorgeous range of Holiday pieces, and I instantly fell in love with the sleek Ice Cube collection, perfect to upgrade whichever outfit you're planning to wear on the hottest party night of the year. The designs of the structured earrings, minimal bracelet, and long dainty necklace are sophisticated and timeless, and the rings are perfect to stack on top of each other to add a little playful touch. I paired the pieces with one of this season's biggest trends, a crushed velvet jumpsuit, and my fluffy pompom pumps.

How is your Holiday gift hunt coming along? Do you love the idea of investing in a classic piece of jewellery, or nah?
