Before Gabriel was born I didn't really have a clear image in my head about what it would be like to travel with him. We knew we wanted him to explore the world with us and introduce him to many different cultures from a very young age on, but how this would unfold specifically - I had no idea. :) After his first trip to Paris earlier this year, where we had a dreamy Eiffel Tower picnic and a little break at the Eiffel Tower carrousel, I realised how much fun it would be to visit every city's most iconic spots with our baby boy! It doesn't only give him the chance to take in some of the most beautiful sights around the world, but also makes for amazing pictures that we'll undoubtedly cherish forever. And even better: it also puts a fresh spin on experiencing those iconic places that we've visited so many times before, because somehow, when you see them through the eyes of a tiny human, they suddenly seem so fresh & uncultivated. :)
So obviously, when we landed in Barcelona for our Winter getaway, we couldn't wait to head out and have a little play date at Park Guëll, aka the most fun spot to hit up in Barcelona with a baby! So many colours, people, and things to grab; it's basically every 5-month-old's dream. We hung out in the delicious November sun, daydreaming about all the ice cream we were going to have for dinner. :) Even though a part of the site was under construction, it was so much fun to take in the most stunning views of the city, not a cloud in the sky. Such a sweet afternoon!
