Okay, so I went big & bold for the Chanel FW18-19 show. :) When I got the invite to the show, with a pretty golden brown Fall leaf, I instantly thought of this amazing red patent leather Solace skirt as the basis for my look (don't you think that red is the ultimate Fall colour? ;)). And because the Chanel show is always one of the most spectacular ones of Paris Fashion Week I decided to go all out with this amazing ruffled Laurence and Chico jacket. I finished off with my favourite Gabrielle de Chanel bag and Morobé sock booties. I really loved the result, especially because it was so much fun to shoot it in the pretty streets of Paris! :)
Show time! I'm always in for going back to nature, so this magical forrest that Karl Lagerfeld created at the Grand Palais was totally my thing. Fun fact: every single tree that was in there (and there were a lot!) was sawn into little pieces for transport and glued back together on location, just as the little leaves that were all put into place by hand. Isn't that crazy?? As for the Chanel FW18-19 collection, the colourful pieces really stood out to me: a multi-coloured leafy two-piece with orangey-pink cropped vests and metallic boots, or a lace little black dress with hot pink gloves - yes please! It all looked so effortless chic and comfy, definitely a new spin on a casual walk in the woods. ;) What was your favourite look?
Thanks so much for having me, Chanel! Can't wait to be a part of your next adventure!
