Couture fashion week in Paris is one of my favourite weeks of the year, so it's always a bit sad when it's over. I always have so much fun! This year, I had a bit more time to go and explore Paris, and with the amazing weather it was even better. :) We stayed at the beautiful Maison Breguet, a super elegant boutique hotel close to the Marais district, one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Paris. Our room felt so homey and they also had an amazing spa & pool (perfect if you're in Paris during a heatwave, like we were :)). And o my, what could be better than having your fresh croissants, oeufs bénédictes and café au lait outside in their cute little garden??
And speaking of enjoying your food al fresco: one night we had dinner at Lou Lou and it was the best! It's not easy to find a restaurant terrace in Paris with such an amazing view of both the Eiffel Tower and the Musée du Louvre. We had the truffle pizza, sooo yummy!!
In between our strolls and Eiffel Tower views, I couldn't help but stop by one of my favourite kids' stores in Paris, Le Petit Souk. Gabriel is going to a bday party next week so we bought this Liewood musical bunny (made from 100% organic cotton), always a hit with little ones! Another afternoon we took a break from going to shows to visit the beautiful Messika showroom. They had the most amazing necklace that Beyoncé wore in her latest video, sooo pretty!! All in all, we had such a great time in Paris, only a shame that we didn't stay until the World Cup finale. ;)
Have you been to Paris recently? Any spots we shouldn't miss next time?
