You guys, it's happening: I've officially entered the leggings phase of my pregnancy! Since I'm usually not exactly a stretchy pants kinda person, I'm super thankful that these are so on trend right now, providing me with lots of inspo here and there. You know that my biggest pet peeve when it comes to outfits is a plain and boring ensemble, so I've been applying my favourite tricks to pimp the hell out of these black leggings that I've been living in lately! :)

1 / GO BLACK

Yup, this is still me talking. :) No worries: I'm still a huge fan of bright colours, but for leggings I actually prefer black, as to avoid any confusion with the versions you'd wear to the gym. Bonus points for those with a bit of added texture, such as the simple vertical line that runs down the front of this pair (which slims down your legs). I paired my leggings with a simple black cashmere turtleneck, for a classy & chique effect (and to keep the little one nice 'n cosy, of course!).

2 / ADD A BIT OF BADASS

I've always loved the idea of being a badass mama (wasn't really happening in the beginning), so oversized pieces such as this camo bomber have been on frequent rotation too. Make sure to go with a piece that has an impeccable finish, such as the khaki hems and red trimmed gold-tone zippers here, which will keep your outfit from feeling ordinary.

3 / GLAM IT UP WITH YOUR ACCESSORIES

No matter how much my belly will grow, they can't take away my accessories! :) Needless to say I've been choosing them very carefully. For this look, I went with my new Liebeskind bag, that has a lovely structured shape and tiny studs (again with the badass details!). I added a white fluffy keychain, matching my cat-eye sunnies, for an extra pop of brightness.
