After our trip to Paris earlier this week, we made a little stop in beautiful Berlin to attend the Marc Cain show! The city's known for its eclectic artistic vibe, and I couldn't have been more pleased to take it all in for the brief time we were there. So if you find yourself in the German capital anytime soon, here's a recap of our 24 hours of Summer in Berlin with Marc Cain...
We stayed at the Titanic Gendarmenmarkt hotel that had all those wonderful German aesthetics: a simple & stern façade, majestic pillars, and golden details - all good! :) And their spa, including a Turkish hamam and dry sauna, looked absolutely beautiful. After breakfast, we headed out to explore the city, and have some coffee at this cute little local spot! I wore the perfect Marc Cain Summer city outfit, featuring different shades of blue (I love playing with those!): an off-the-shoulder top, structured navy track pants, a matching electric blue bag, and pointy coral kitten heels (for an extra pop of colour). Afterwards, we stopped at the Kater Schmaus restaurant to grab some lunch. The place had a classic kind of industrial vibe that I really liked, and though the service wasn't excellent, I enjoyed my quinoa stuffed peppers with goat cheese a lot!
To attend the show, I went with Marc Cain leopard-printed flowy trousers as the eye-catchers of my look, paired with a classic white blouse, worn off-the-shoulder to make it a bit more feminine (with the same goal, I added a sweet pink manicure with O.P.I. It's Pink P.M.). I completed the outfit with strong classics (which I find so fitting for Berlin! :)), a black chain bag and pointy heels. And of course, I fell instantly in love with the white embroidered dress with statement bows on the shoulders and raffia bucket bag, pictured above! Isn't it just perfect for a hot Summer day of strolling around the beach, popsicles and cocktails in hand? Also bookmarking the chunky-slides-with-bow and lace-up espadrilles, aka the perfect footwear to pack for short city trips!
Have you been to Berlin recently? Any tips or hotspots to add? :)
