You guys, let's talk about my Cannes 2018 princess dresses! :) We've been invited to the Cannes film festival for a couple of years now (so lucky! :)), but this year I really felt like going all out on the red carpet. When we arrived it was a bit cloudy which was kind of a bummer because I was really looking forward to working on my tan. :) But we went to the beach anyway, just to squeeze in some peace & quiet before the red carpet craziness. It felt so good to wear short flower dresses and take in that amazing French Riviera light!
And then it was showtime! I can't even tell you how excited (and kinda nervous) I was to wear my hot pink Georges Hobeika dress! I mean, isn't it gorgeous?? I really wanted a 'Carrie dress' for my montée des marches moment (who remembers her milles feuilles dress in Paris? :)) so I was psyched when I found this beauty. Between the colour and super flattering cut I just couldn't have asked for a better showstopper. I paired it with my favourite Messika jewellery, and my outfit was done! For hair & make-up I could count on the sweetest Dior Beauty pro's: @normanpohl created my make-up look, and I loved, loved, loved it. Since the dress was already pretty out there, we went with a more subtle beauty look, focusing on glowy hydrated skin. He used the brand new Dior Backstage foundation (supposedly also Meghan Markle's wedding foundation! :)) that masks any imperfections but still keeps your features as natural looking as possible - I loved how it didn't fully cover up my freckles! As for my hair, @cyrilhair styled my beloved sleek cut so I could wear it in a casual middle part instead of my usual low bun. Are you a fan of my Cannes 2018 red carpet look? I honestly felt like a princess all night, such a cliché but I guess it's all thanks to Meghan? :)
