Let's be honest here: applying make-up is probably the most gratifying in the morning, when it allows you to (kind of) disguise dark circles and other imperfections that come with never ever getting those recommended 8 hours of sleep. Ironically, this is also the time of your day when you couldn't care less about primer and lipliner and bronzer, because it's just too damn early. But trust me on this one: you will be thankful to have put on some make-up once you step out your door to go face your boss (and office crush!). So here's my no-fuss 5-minute make-up routine, that I stick to on a daily basis:



  1. Apply a small amount of the Chanel Les Beiges foundation on the places where you need coverage - around your nose & lips, and on your forehead - and Dior's Fix It concealer below your eyes. I like to apply both with my fingers so that they adjust to my body temperature and warm up a little before tapping them in.

  2. Apply a neutral copper coloured eyeshadow, such as Chanel's no. 82 Emerveillé, on top of your eyelids and below your eye.

  3. Gently curl your upper and lower eye lashes with the renowned Shu Uemura curler (my all-time fave!), and apply 2-3 thin layers of the super pigmented black Diorshow mascara - my no. 1 trick for instantly looking more awake. :) Then fill in your eyebrows with Chanel's sculpting eyebrow pencil.

  4. Finish with my favourite shimmery blush (so you can skip highlighter!), the Sunset Glow Highlighting Powder by Bobbi Brown.

  5. Apply the Dior Addict Lip Glow, that accentuates your natural lip colour without looking too lipstick-y.



Basically whatever makes you feel comfy and ready to conquer the day: a black ripped jeans, denim jacket, classic white tee, slides, and poppy nails (I'm wearing Look At Me Baby! by Faby).
