People always try to warn you, but it's not until you've experienced it yourself that you really know: when you have a baby, the days of sleeping in are over. Like, done. :) I've never been a long sleeper but when your nights aren't as peaceful as they used to be, early mornings can start to weigh you down after a while. So I was super excited to escape for 2 blissful spa days to Bordeaux, at the beautiful Sources de Caudalie. It was of course extra special for us, because this is where we had our babymoon, when Gabriel was still merely a bump. :)
Though it was raining most of the time I had such a good time, relaxing in the hot tub (even better when you hear the rain tapping on the roof ;)) and enjoying some spa treatments. I got to try out the renewed Caudalie Premier Cru line, and though I loved every product (they smell so good!) the serum was really my favourite. Just as the other Premier Cru products, the serum focuses on anti-aging, so I also asked my mama to try it out, and she loved it too. :) It brings together all the Caudalie anti-aging patents, so it's kind of their superstar. And a little backstage tip: the Premier Cru eye cream is one of my favourite multitaskers! Lots of make-up artists use it to uplight the eye area, so it's the perfect basis for your concealer (if you need some extra coverage like I do). I always used to wonder about the point of mini getaways, but after these 2 days I'm a huge fan!
