As someone who's, ahem, blessed with a very sensitive skin, colder temperatures don't exactly bring out the best in me. And because itchy dry spots and a dull skin are the worst I always up my skincare game a little bit as soon as the weather becomes dreary and unpredictable. This year, I've relied on these 3 amazing products to get me through:
SOME EXTRA WARMTH
I love me a good face mask, and Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair is really great. This two-part foil mask makes you look a little bit sci-fi, but really makes a huge difference for your skin! As you put it on your face for about 15 minutes it gets a little bit warm, which is an added bonus these days, right?
SOME EXTRA MOISTURE
La Mer's Renewal Oil = best.face.oil.ever. It smells incredible and gets easily absorbed - 2 crucial elements for a face oil, I think. I like to apply a few extra drops onto my cheeks on those days when it's particularly cold. Sure, it's a bit of an investment, but since you only need a little bit at a time one bottle lasts forever.
SOME EXTRA GLOW
Since it's all in the details I take good care of my nails year-round, but during the Winter this Fitness Oil by Faby is so invaluable for keeping my nails from becoming super fragile. I apply it onto my nails and massage it into my cuticles right before going to bed. Healthy nails guaranteed! :)
