When it comes to shopping, I'm totally the old-fashioned kind. Since I'm a big believer of the fact that true luxury lies in great craftsmanship & premium materials, I just need to see and feel a piece before I can fall in love with it. This also makes me a dangerous shopper by the way, because once I stumble upon that perfectly executed rich blue velvet sofa or that over-the-top wooden chandelier, I'm basically lost. :) So when I heard about the carefully curated collection of fashion, beauty & interior pieces from The Line in NYC, presented in an airy & light apartment in the heart of Manhattan, I just had to check it out! NYC shopping done differently? The Apartment by The Line knows how.

Apartment by The Line

LOCATION / The Apartment by The Line is another Soho gem (just as my favourite NYC power food hotspot), located on Greene Street, on the 3rd floor of a gorgeous original 19th C building.

VIBE / The idea of presenting your collection in the context of a perfectly groomed home is something that has been tried by many, but very few come close to this place. The unique (and, in NYC terms, HUGE) space consists of a cosy living room (complete with gorgeous ceilings, wooden panelling, and cute furnishing of course), kitchen & dining area, walk-in closet, bedroom & bathroom. Such a clever way to make you want to take a piece of all this gorgeousness home!

COLLECTION & MUST-BUYS / From small souvenirs (think beauty staples with the prettiest packaging) to high-quality home fragrances, timeless fashion, and gorgeous interior pieces (was crushing hard on the grey velvet couch and marble side tables): it's all there, waiting to be adopted by helpless lovers of all things beauty.

MAIN PERKS / The fact that there's literally something for everyone, both aesthetics and price-wise. And it doesn't hurt that The Apartment kind of makes you feel like you're inside this Beyoncé video.
