Here's a weird fact about me: I used to not like Sundays. :) When I was younger, it just kind of seemed like a 'lost day' that was waaay too quiet. Now that we have our baby boy though, and I'm used to being on the road a lot I actually cherish my Sundays - maybe more than any other day of the week.
It just feels so good to sleep in (if our active Brazilian boy allows it ;)), shuffle around the house in our jammies, have a little pre-breakfast (I can't leave the house without eating at least a piece of fruit) and head out for a Sunday brunch in the city. Since Gabriel LOVES to be out & about he's usually very much into our little family ritual, chewing on whatever he can get his hands on and smiling from ear to ear. Al fresco brunches are my fave, because everything just tastes better with a little fresh air, don't you think? Putting on your cosiest coat and a big turtleneck knit, and then go all the way with people spotting and pancakesl: heaven on earth! :)
What's your favourite Sunday ritual? Are you also totally on board with a good old Sunday brunch in the city?
